DOROTHY HELEN ERB

Peacefully, surrounded by her children Mom left us on February 1, 2024, to be reunited with Dad, Kelly and dog, Dusty.

Dorothy is survived by her sons, Steve and Randy (Kathy), daughters, Anne (Marcel) and Karen (Bruce), 10 grandchildren, 22+1 great-grandchildren, sisters, Elenor and Roberta (Jim), and brother Wayne (Peggy).

Dorothy was predeceased by her husband Gary; son Kelly; parents, Steve and Margaret Plouffe; sister Blanche; brother Robert; niece Darla; nephew Jamie; in-laws, Ted and Hazel, Doug and Marilyn, Murray Kelly; and nephew Tim.

Dorothy was born and raised in Fort Garry. She married Gary Erb and together they raised their children on the family farm in Oak Bluff. She was truly loved and the pillar of strength in the family. She will be remembered by those who knew her for her generosity and compassion. Her life revolved around loving and caring for her family. As an active member of the Fort Garry Legion, Mom truly enjoyed her bingo, bowling, shuffleboard, cribbage, and the casino.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held in her honour at the Oak Bluff Hall on March 8, 2024, at 1:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Firefighters Burn Fund, Make-a-Wish or Canadian Cancer Society.
