Passed away at the Baldur Health Centre Transitional Unit on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at the age of 80 years, Donald George McGill, of Belmont, MB.
Don leaves to mourn his passing his daughter Cheryl (Brent) Battersby of Brandon, MB, grandchildren Brynne and Mitchell, brother Keith (Carol) McGill of Killarney, MB, sister Helen (Keith) Heaman of Carman, MB, brother and sisters-in-law Dennis (Marie) McCutchin of Brandon, MB and Barb Raison of Winnipeg, MB as well as numerous extended relatives.
Don was predeceased by his wife Faye (nee McCutchin) in 2010, son Kerry McGill in 2014, parents Herb and Florence McGill, father and mother-in-law Earl and Darlene McCutchin and by brothers-in-law Rodie Raison and Marvin McCutchin.
A Celebration of Don’s Life will be held on Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in the Belmont Community Hall with Sharon Hamilton officiating. Interment will take place in the Hillside Cemetery.
Friends that so desire, memorial donations can be made in Don’s memory to the Baldur Palliative Care Unit, Box 128, Baldur, MB, R0K 0B0 or to the Belmont Museum, c/o Jessie Myers, Box 92, Belmont, MB, R0K 0C0.
