Fredrick Lyle Stevens, formerly of Glenboro, MB, passed away at the Valleyview Personal Care Home, Brandon, MB, on Monday, February 26th, 2024, at the age of 97 years.

Fred leaves to mourn his passing children, Randy Stevens of Edmonton, AB, Darry (Cher) Stevens of Winnipeg, MB, Jody Parsonage (Carl Collister) of Baldur, MB; nine grandchildren Cameron, Tyler, Michael, Branden (Regan), Riki, Jennie (Patrick), Dory (Adria), Riley (Rachelle), Sally (Jeff); and nine great-grandchildren.

He is also survived by sisters-in-law Roma Stevenson of Brandon, MB, and Beverley Harris of Winnipeg, MB as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended relatives and friends.

Dad is back with his loving wife Fern of 71 years. He was also predeceased by his parents, Russell and Agnes Stevens, sister Gwen (Fred) Sanford, brothers, Ernie (Marion) Stevens and William (Marion) Stevens, his father and mother-in-law Harvey and Eleanor Tolton, brother-in-law Roland (Isabelle) Tolton, sister-in-law Phyllis (Max) Hatch, brothers-in-law Horace Stevenson and Robert Harris, and son-in-law Harold Parsonage.

A Celebration of Fred’s life will be held on Tuesday, March 5th, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at the Glenboro United Church with Sandra Rex officiating. A private family inurnment will take place at Rosewood Memorial Gardens later.

Friends who so wish, memorial donations can be made in Fred’s memory to the Glenboro & Area Foundation, Box 147, Glenboro, MB, or to the Glenboro United Church Memorial Fund, Box 623, Glenboro, MB, R0K 0X0.
