Jacob understood that those who rarely experienced kindness were unable to recognize kindness when offered, so he displayed kindness unconditionally; especially to those who used silence, invisibility and isolation as protection in their journey.
When there was an absence of light, he did not fear the darkness. He did not assume hatred lurked in hearts where love was absent. That is where he dispelled the shadows with a luminous heart.
Six years ago today you bestowed strength upon us when your spirit could no longer be contained in this dimension, the strength to meet the next day with you always in our minds, hearts and in our sweetest dreams.
