Scott wrote in 2012: What is beautiful? ...sunsets across lakes...mountains through clouds...sheet lightning on pitch-black nights...blankets of stars, too many to count...people holding hands for the first time and the last time...when you know you can make a fool of yourself and no one will care...people singing together...complete and total forgiveness...sacrificial love...when it turns out things aren't so awkward after all.
A favourite Bible verse of Scott's: He heals the broken-hearted and bandages up their wounds. He counts the stars and calls them by name. Psalm 147:3,4.
Scott, we who know you love you and miss you.
