Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOSEPH FRANCIS TROSKY
It is with sadness we announce that Joe passed away at South Okanagan General Hospital, Oliver, BC, on March 7, 2024.
He was predeceased by his parents, Peter and Mary Trosky. Joe is survived by his wife Marge and the family that he cherished with all his heart: Kevin Denchuk (Antoanela), Paul Denchuk (Meredith), Tanya Denchuk (Jules) and seven grandchildren, Nicholas, Mara, Virginia, Signe Denchuk and Jack, Shannon and Luke Vadeboncoeur; and brother Garry Trosky (Sheila).
Joe was born and raised in Winnipeg. He worked as a firefighter with the City of Winnipeg Fire Department for 30 years. Joe and Marge enjoyed travels and cruises to many destinations and camping in BC, Washington, Oregon and Western Canada. Moving to Osoyoos with Marge in 2004 Joe quickly made Osoyoos home, woodcarving with his friends and volunteering in the community. Joe was a quiet man of few words who loved life, his family and his friends, always willing to lend a hand. He loved to research recipes and cooked many great meals.
A Celebration of Joe’s life will be held in Winnipeg at a later date.
Donations in Joe’s honour can be made to the Manitoba Firefighters Burn Fund.

Joe and seven of us worked for the WFD. In the nineties we shared coffee every morning at Marieas. Joe was kind reserved and a keen listener. While having coffee we usually ordered our breakfast. Joe had the funniest way of eating his eggs I’ll never forget. Joe you unfortunately join several others of the the seven who have past. Marge you were the only person he talked of! Gods Peace. - Posted by: Bruce Hallmuth (Worked together ) on: Mar 16, 2024
