Peacefully, on December 17, 2023, surrounded by her family, Linda Williams passed away.
She was predeceased by the two loves of her life, Ernie James and Jack Finkleman, her parents, Donavon Williams and Lavana Gentray, siblings, Tony Sorokowski and Rio Ryan. She is survived by her sister Tami Norget (John), son Michael James (Keri), daughter Shawnne James, stepchildren, Stacey Chapman, Jamie Finkleman (Kathy) and David Finkleman, grandchildren, Alexander, Jasper, Kaydence, Elana and Rebecca.
Linda, born in Dauphin, MB, on August 25, 1947, moved to Winnipeg when she was still young. She met Ernie James and they moved to BC in the late 1960s. She had Michael and several years later had Shawnne. In the early 1980s, after separating from Ernie, she moved back to Winnipeg, met Jack and spent many years until he passed away in 2021. Linda worked in various industries but spent most of her younger years raising her children. She loved nature and animals of all kinds. She was always up for going on a road trip, long or short, and dancing with Jack at the Forever Young Club.
A Celebration of Life will be held 11:00 a.m. April 2, 2024, at Springs Church, 725 Lagimodiere Blvd. in Winnipeg.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to an animal rescue of your choice.

Linda was a great listener, enjoyed the little things in life and was able to put up with Jacks craze dance moves. Now you are at peace Linda and rock and rolling with your poodle skirt in heaven. So Sorry for your Loss, Linda and Jack were longtime members of our "Forever Young Club" and were sure to be present on the dance floor from start to finish, they were a DJ's dream couple as the were never shy to start of the dancing. They were a great couple, very cordial and were easy to help out in anyway. We will surely acknowledge her passing at our April Dance. God Bless both Linda and Jack, gone but never forgotten.
