In loving memory of our beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, daughter-in-law, friend and so much more.
Today we take the time to remember Ria together- her laughter, her strength and the way she made ordinary moments extraordinary. As we mark one year since Ria’s passing, we hold her memory close. Her absence is felt deeply. Not a day goes by where we don’t think about her.
Cancer can take a lot from a person but Ria showed us how truly resilient she was. Cancer never took her hope, crippled her love or corroded her faith.
We see her intelligence, empathy and adventurous personality in her daughter Anastasia. When Stasie laughs we are reminded that a part of you lives on through her.
Ria’s legacy will forever live on through us- in the stories we share, the tears we shed and the love we hold closely.
It broke our hearts to lose you,
You did not go alone,
For part of us went with you,
The day God called you home.
Being able to love you in this lifetime was the greatest honour.
