It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Rene Francis Defries on March 25, 2024, at the age of 82 years.
Survived by his beloved wife, Genevieve, of 52 years; daughter Yvette (Shaun) and their children, Hailey and Connor; daughter Danielle (Jay) and their son Henry; siblings, Leoni, Claudette (Lionel) and Marcus (Sheila); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and family. Preceded by his parents, Margaret and Marcel.
Funeral mass to be held on April 3, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Saint John XXIII Roman Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Assumption Roman Catholic Cemetery.
