JAMES EDWARD BERINGER
It is with sadness we announce Jim's unexpected passing.
A long-time resident of St. Vital, Jim worked as a mechanic for many years in Fort Rouge and later with Saturn Industries. He was an avid sports fan and past member of the St. Vital and Fort Rouge Curling Clubs.
He is survived by a sister and cousins.
Respecting his wishes there has been a private interment.

Jim and I grew up across the road from one another on Nichol Avenue. I have lots of memories of Jim whether it was playing road hockey or baseball on the street as kids or as we grew older a road trip to Toronto to visit Ross Leighton. Jim was always a good friend.
