Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryREGINALD ROBERT BRIAN KOZUB
It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Reginald Robert Brian Kozub on April 18, 2024 at 72 years of age.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Karen; sons, Jonathan (Irene) and Jared; his brothers, Jerry (Shirley); Ron (Lorraine); sisters-in-law, Elma and Joan; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Ted and Anne, and brothers, William and Wilfred.
Reg grew up in Riverton, MB and enjoyed playing hockey, and later watching his boys play. Very important to him was having a close loving bond with his family. He was known by others for his kindness and calm, caring positive attitude. Reg had a real gift for talking to people and putting them at ease. He really enjoyed his work in the transportation industry for decades.
Reg had strong faith in God’s promise of living forever on a paradise earth where sickness and death will no longer exist. (Revelation 21:4)
A memorial service will be held at the Kingdom Hall Centre of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 227 Lakewood Blvd., on Saturday, May 4, 2024 at 2:00 p.m.

Our sincere condolences to Karen, Johnathan and Jerad and the Kozub family. Always remember Reg at different hockey arenas where his boys liked to play. I first met Reg in the early 1980’s where we played hockey at the East St Paul hockey rink with other members of the Kozub family/friends. I remember how fast his legs were going when he skated down the left wing and enjoyed his calm manner. Played with Reg for many years in ESP. Later I enjoyed playing with his boys at the Selkirk hockey arena and later at River Heights arena. His boys would often rent the Jets arena where Reg had great times with his boys and all who played. The many many relationships formed at hockey were great for all who played over all those years. Reg was great example of a family man who loved to be around his boys. I think of Reg being solidly in Jehovah’s memory so look forward to seeing him again. Reggie Kozub was an awesome defenceman for Riverton Lions! He was a stay-at-home defenceman, a solid man serving us a few years on the Riverton Lions hockey team. We saw him last at Hughie Wilson's funeral, and he seemed healthy and strong. I was encouraged reading that his sons, Jonathan (Irene) and Jared, also played hockey. He was a strong father, encouraging his sons at each game they played. We are very surprised to hear of his passing at such a young age. God bless Reggie and his family! - Posted by: Lloyd & Jeannette Roche (Good friends!) on: Apr 28, 2024

Reggie and I were in grade school together and saw each other at various conventions over the years. Only last fall we had visited together at the assembly hall on Lakewood. Karen, my deepest condolences to you and the boys. As a widow I can empathize with what you are going through and I know that the loving support of our Heavenly Father and spiritual family will comfort and sustain you during this difficult time.. 🦋🙏🏻💞Geri Murash - Posted by: Geri (Former classmate and spiritual sister) on: Apr 28, 2024
