TAMMY ROSSOL

August 27, 1959 - April 23, 2024

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear mother, Tammy Barbara Rossol, on her 41st wedding anniversary, Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at the age of 64.

Tammy was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba on August 27, 1959. Throughout life, she found joy in various activities like beach volleyball matches at Lester Beach, Manitoba with friends, tending to her vibrant garden filled with colourful flowers, and scouring thrift stores for unique treasures and little knick-knacks. She cherished her trips to Grand Forks alongside her girlfriends, relishing the adventures and laughter they shared. After a long successful career, she retired from CP Rail.

Tammy was predeceased by her parents Ethel Mitten (nee Gibson) and Gerhardt Almer Kullman. She is survived by her husband John; daughters Jillian (David) and Lana; sister Gail (Brian, Brianne, Bradley); brothers Gary and Tommy (Rita); cousin Joan, in-laws Elisabeth (Willi), Barbara, and Julie (Pat); along with numerous special cousins, nieces and nephews. And we can't forget her four-legged love, her grand-dog Saige.

Her Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Tammy’s memory may be made to Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, 10–120 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB R3C 4G2.

  • It’s taken me a while to write cuz we are extremely saddened to know that our beautiful Tammy has passed. Our hearts and condolences are with her family, especially her daughters and her sister. We didn’t see each other as much in recent years, but we thank God that we were blessed to have Tammy in our lives and we had many years of laughter and making wonderful memories together. I pray you have special memories that will keep her close to you forever. Rest in peace dear Tammy. - Posted by: Elinore Loos (Cousin) on: Apr 29, 2024

  • Met Tammy at Locke Bay when she and John were visiting Bauers. She always had a smile and a great laugh. What a shock to read her obituary, (It’s been awhile). Sincere condolences to John and the family. Liz’s “little brother”. Our thoughts are with you always. - Posted by: Trucia Howard (Acquaintance) on: Apr 27, 2024

  • Dear John, Jillian, Lana and the Kuhlman family. Please accept my sincerest condolences on the passing of dearest Tammy. I have so many wonderful memories of Tammy that it’s hard to isolate just one. She was always so gracious about sharing her house when we came to town and I invited everyone over and made our famous BBQ turkey for a houseful. She was so patient with John for so many years until her health became an issue. For that and just being her I thank her. She always had a smile for everybody. She and Alan always had feeding frenzies, sometimes in the middle of the night you would hear the microwave and smell kolbassa cooking. Alan treasured Tammy as well. Maybe they will be cooking kolbassa together tonight. From now on things will be difficult for you because she was like the rudder of “the Good Ship Rossol”. Please know that you can call on me anytime if you need help. But always remember that grief is the price you pay for love. Just know that I am grieving along side of you. You will always be in my thoughts and prayers. With much love “Auntie” Barb❤️🙏 - Posted by: Barb Holden (Sister-in-law) on: Apr 27, 2024
