JAN OSCIAK
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jan, loving father, brother, grandfather, and great-grandfather, who peacefully passed away at home surrounded by his loved ones.
He is predeceased by his wife Stefania, son Stasio, his brothers Kazimierz, Franciszek, Zbigniew and sisters Paulina, Stasia, and Jadzia. He leaves to mourn his children, Krystyna (Romuald), Zbigniew (Marzena), grandchildren Michał (Dawn), Bartłomiej (Jiyoung), Kasia (Jahmeel), Piotr, and Agata (Adam), and great-grandchildren Anya, Mischa, Adam Jr, Ara, Maya, Stella and Everly.
The family expresses special gratitude to Jan's wonderful caregivers Marysia, Oksana, Sabina and Krystyna for their care and compassion.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Jan's name and in memory of his wife Stefania to CancerCare Manitoba or Radio Polonia, which he enjoyed and supported for many decades.
Prayers will be held at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street on Monday, May 13 at 7:00 p.m. A funeral mass will be held at Holy Ghost Church, 341 Selkirk Ave on Tuesday, May 14 at 10:00 a.m.
