With sadness we share the news of the passing of Evelyn Bernice Ross. Evelyn passed away peacefully and with courage at her home on Wednesday, April 24, 2024.
Evelyn was born on August 4, 1950, to Winnifred and Lloyd Campbell. During her lifetime, she enjoyed living in many different communities but finally settled in Gunton, Manitoba for her retirement. Evelyn worked at several different occupations including managing successful restaurant, hotel and retail businesses, owning her own restaurant business, residential manager for The Handcrafter and finally as a campground attendant at Opapiskaw Campground in Whiteshell Provincial Park.
Left to mourn her passing are her daughter Tammy Ross; sons, Douglas Ross (Pamela), Clinton Campbell (Kristen); grandchildren, Taylor, Cyara (Gabe), Colton, Shelby (Nik), Ashton; great-grandchildren, Wya, Wrenley, Larson.
Evelyn did not wish to have a service but instead asked that a BBQ and bonfire be held in her honour. This will be announced at a later date.
