MARY FRANCES BERTHOLET

(KAMINSKY)

April 13, 1935 – May 3, 2024

Mary passed away peacefully at St. Boniface hospital with her family by her side.

Mary was predeceased by her husband Guy Bertholet. She will forever be lovingly remembered by her six children Jeffrey (Nina), Jennifer (Jeff), Natalie (Frank), Kim (Donald), Tara (Jim) and Chantal (Mike). Her memory will be cherished by her eight grandchildren, Ethan, Paule, Kelsey, Aimee, Noah, Cooper, Nolan, Oliver and her great-grandson, Arta.

She was predeceased by her beloved sister, Helen Kaminsky and her brother Frank Kaminsky. She leaves to mourn, her brothers, Carl Kaminsky (Sheila) and George Kaminsky (Charlotte) and her sister Anne Zoppa (Norman). She also leaves behind her sister-in-law, Diane Kaminsky.

Mary worked as a teacher in God's Lake before getting married and starting a family. Once her youngest daughter started school, she worked for many years as an educational assistant in the Seven Oaks school division.

Mary was a loving and patient wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She lived a selfless life, dedicated to the care and well-being of her loved ones.

With respect to Mary's wishes, there will be no formal service. Mary's ashes will rest with her parents and sister at Holy Ghost Cemetery, with interment at a later date.

The family would like to thank the staff at The St. Boniface Emergency department and the compassionate nurses and aides in palliative care who kept her comfortable in her final hours.
