ARLEE JEAN (PAIGE) MAWER

December 31, 1947 - May 11, 2024

In loving memory of our mother, Arlee Jean (Paige) Mawer who passed away on May 11, 2024. Arlee was born in Brandon on December 31, 1947, and grew up in a large family with eight other siblings. After some time spent working in hair dressing and at a dental office, Arlee met Ralph Mawer. They married and together raised three children on a farm near Alexander, MB. She was predeceased by her husband Ralph, sisters Leona, Anita and Beth, and brothers Jimmy, Dennis and Joe.

Arlee leaves to mourn sons Doug (Colleen) Mawer of Brandon, Chad Mawer of Rivers, daughter Erin (Jeff) Ash of Gilbert Plains; grandchildren Tyler (Martina), Brett and Hailey Mawer, Peyton and Cameron Ash; great-granddaughter Violet Mawer; sisters Elaine Cotton and Irene Larkins; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Arlee took great pride in her family and especially loved having her grandkids come to visit.

At Arlee's request, cremation has taken place at Brockie Donovan with a private family burial to follow where she will be laid to rest at Alexander Cemetery,

On our saddest day and our happiest moments, there was always Mom.

Rest easy Mom, until we meet again.
