CARL F. PITURA
Carl F. Pitura passed away on January 9, 2024, at the Grace Hospital in his 99th year, and a private family funeral was held at that time. Being a snowbird who loved his warm winters in Arizona, and a lifelong farmer who welcomed spring and the promise of the new crop year, he did not want his friends and family to gather in the cold weather to say goodbye. So, respecting his wishes, we are holding a “Celebration of his Life” on Sunday, May 26 at 2:00 p.m. in the Domain Hall in Domain, Manitoba - his home community for most of his life. His interment will proceed this at 1:00 p.m. at the nearby Avonlea Cemetery. Please join us that afternoon to help us bid farewell to our dad and grandpa and celebrate his long and successful life.
If you wish, donations can be made in his name at CancerCare Manitoba, Children’s Hospital Research Foundation or the charity of your choice.

Carl stewarded the universal supply of water to all households and businesses in the RM of Macdonald. It was a difficult sell but he persisted thankfully. What a legacy of service he has left for all of us. RIP. - Posted by: Bill Fisher (RM resident) on: May 25, 2024
