Peacefully on May 14, 2024, John passed away at Grace Hospice.
He leaves to mourn his wife Jessie; his three children, Morris, George (Lisa) and Elizabeth (Kelly); six (6) grandchildren; and six (6) great-grandchildren.
John immigrated to Canada from Poland in 1965 and quickly built a life as a painter, specializing in wallpaper. He took great pride in the jobs he did in the city always commenting that he painted this or did the wallpaper for that.
With respect to John’s wishes, there will be no service. Dad loved to go fishing so his ashes will be scattered in the summer by his sons on a fishing trip.
The family would like to thank the compassionate nurses, aides and support staff at Grace Hospice for providing exceptional care in his final time here on earth.
