ZYTA ZEPP

With sadness and regret we announce the passing of Zyta Zepp (Antoniewicz) of Winnipeg at age 67 at St. Boniface Hospital on May 17, 2024 after a brief battle with cancer.

She was predeceased by husband Chester and son Mark with whom she emigrated to Canada from Poland in 1982.

She is survived by husband Jim, daughters, Diane Alaniz and Jolene Racette, grandchildren, Kalyna, Anastasia, Lily and Landon.

Zyta worked in Care Homes, Health Sciences Centre Children’s Hospital and Crossways for 12 years, retiring in 2022, adding English to her Polish, Ukrainian and Russian.

Zyta was always strong-willed and determined in every part of her life.

She had a wicked (sometimes outrageous) sense of humour. The sheer force of her personality and caring heart made her the kind of person everyone wanted to befriend.

Memorial Service will be Wednesday, June 5, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Crossways, 222 Furby Street.
