Along the road of suffering
You found a little lane
That took you up
to Heaven,
And ended all your pain.
You may be out of sight,
We may be worlds apart
But you are always
in our thoughts,
And forever in our hearts.

God called upon our grandpa
One year ago today
To take him from his family
And ease his growing pain.
Every day we miss him
It often brings forth tears
To think we’ll never see him
Throughout the coming years.
We hope that he is watching
From the land up above
And smiles as he follows us
The ones who shared his love.
We will keep on living
To make our grandpa proud
So he’ll be glad to see us
When we join him on his cloud.
