Albert Peter Doerksen

January 28,1951 - May 13, 2024


Suddenly, it is with deep regret that we announce the passing of Albert Peter Doerksen On the 13th of May, 2024 at Grace Hospital at the age of 73 years. Albert was born in Vita and resided in Winnipeg. He is survived by his wife Jacquelyn and their son Kendall; his first wife Lori and their two sons Todd and Darrell; his five sisters Lina and Maurice, Bev and Raye, Marilyn and Mitch, Marlene and Glen, Marie and Dan; his two brothers Alfred and Phyllis, Marvin and Jasmine. He was predeceased by his parents Clara and Peter; one sister Daphne; his two brothers Peter and Raymond.

In his adolescent years, he enjoyed racing his 1970 Charger R/T 440 Six Pack with Fred, Peter, and the Andersons down the backroads of Piney MB. He loved making his family, friends, and coworkers laugh with his unique sense of humor. He put his heart and soul into his work as a heavy equipment operator, baker, and caretaker. He would give the shirt off his back for anyone in need. He had a knack for photography.

There will be a Celebration of Life at Breezy Bend Country Club on Friday, May 24th 2024 at 12:00 p.m. in Headingley, MB. Donations will go to the Heart and Stroke foundation, or the Red Cross.
