MARC JOSEPH SOUCY
It is with great sorrow and sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend, Marc Soucy, on May 14, 2024.
Marc was predeceased by his father, Elsime (Sim) Soucy and will be lovingly remembered by his mother, Lucille (Lou) Soucy, siblings, Rick (Ann), Mona, Joanne, nieces and nephews, Nicky (Kevin), Robert, Mackenzie, Alex, Felix, Simon and great-nephew Finley and many other extended family members and friends.
Marc was born May 20, 1967, 19 minutes before his twin sister, Mona, raised in St. Adolphe until he moved to Winnipeg and become a welder. Marc struggled with addiction for many years. He spent a lot of time at Union Gospel Mission working in the kitchen, collecting and sorting donations and facilitating overcomer meetings. Marc enjoyed spending time with family, rough housing with his nieces and nephews. Marc had a passion for photography and making the best of birthday cards for everyone in the family. One of his biggest enjoyments in life was spent in the boat, fishing.
May all your struggles be over and your fishing days grand! Rest in peace!
Funeral service being held at St. Adolphe Catholic Parish on Friday, May 24, 2024, at 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made, in Marc’s honour, to Union Gospel Mission, PO Box 1073, STN Main, Winnipeg, MB R3C 2X4.

My deepest sympathies to Marc's family, especially Mona. I have so many wonderful and funny memories of Marc. He truly had a heart of gold. He was goofy and sweet and a good friend. Rest easy Marc, fly high, my friend. - Posted by: Jackie Thibert (Friend) on: May 30, 2024
