It is with deep sadness that the family announce the passing of Yuta Omotani on May 8, 2024 in Ontario.
Yuta will be sadly missed by his beloved wife, Laura, and daughter, Alyssa. He also will be greatly missed by his sisters, Kuni Omotani and Irene Tatsumi; his niece Cathryn (Mark) Hanssen; his nephew Kenji (Corinne), Chloe and Samuel Tatsumi; as well as extended family, relatives, and friends.
Yuta was predeceased by his parents, Fusaichi and Sumiye Omotani; and his brother-in-law, Suehiro Tatsumi.
A funeral service was held at the O'Neill Funeral Home in Stouffville, Ontario followed by burial on May 15, 2024.
If so desired, donations can be sent to the Canadian Cancer Society.

I remember Yuta growing up in Morse Place in Wpg. Kind and caring, a friend of my older brother Greg. Through the years as we bumped into one another he always had time for a friendly chat.
