Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBRIAN DENNIS TRAINOR
Unexpectedly, on May 15, 2024, at his home in Kelowna, BC, Brian passed away peacefully at the age of 77.
Brian was born in Winnipeg on September 9, 1946 to Patrick and Kathleen Trainor. He grew up in Winnipeg, working for Manitoba Hydro for 37 years before retiring and moving to Kelowna. During his career at Hydro he made great friends and had great times playing in many of the sports leagues, including hockey, baseball and curling. He also made many friends and fond memories coaching and cheering on his daughter Leigh in ringette and baseball. Brian enjoyed a simple life in Kelowna, spending time with his daughter and son-in-law, chatting with his neighbours, frequenting Timmies and Chances and feeding any and all animals because "they're hungry."
Brian will be forever missed by his daughter Leigh, her mother Linda, his son-in-law Justin, many nieces, nephews, friends, neighbours and his cat Scruffy.
Cremation has taken place and at Brian's request there will be no service.

Condolences Leigh and family. I Worked with Brian at MB Hydro - the last 12 years he was there at the Helpdesk. BT was a truly dedicated co-worker, an easy going and great guy to be around at work, man of few and meaningful words most of the time, someone that I looked up to as a younger co-worker, but mostly, a very very proud Dad about "the kid". Was very saddened hearing of BT's passing and I will continue to think of him often with a smile fondly remembering the days spent with him at the 3529 pit. - Posted by: Bruce Reid (Co-Worker and Friend) on: May 25, 2024
