Peacefully on June 16, 2024, Madeline Bodie passed away at the age of 72 after a lengthy battle with several health issues.
She is survived by her husband Wayne of 53 years, sister-in-law Sharron (Warren), nephew Kevin (Kristen), niece Krista (Dean) and several great-nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her mother Mary, dad Roman, cousins, Steven and Timothy.
A special thank you to her Seven Oaks home care coordinator Deborah for her support and home care workers who took excellent care of her. Also, thank you to the doctors and nurses at Health Sciences Centre for their kindness and care during her last few days.
Cremation has taken place and a family service is planned for a later date.
Donations in Madeline’s memory can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Winnipeg Humane Society, Manitoba Lung Association, or Saint Mary the Protectress Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral.
