With deep sadness, we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Lil Frohlich, on June 25, 2024, at the age of 91.
She was predeceased by her husband Chuck and her parents, Norman and Charna Guberman. She is survived by her children, Perla (Ron), Arnie (Janet), Jack (Karen), grandchildren, Ariel (Lisy), Noah, Carmi (Renee), Jona (Adam), Brynne (Max), Meital, Elisheva, Leora and great-grandchildren, Maya and Isla.
Mom was born in Winnipeg on October 20, 1932. She had 66 great years with our dad. They had a busy social life with lots of friends and attended many community events. They never missed an out-of-town family function.
Mom was thoughtful, friendly, energetic, kind and never had a bad word to say about anybody. She was always interested and cared for how others were doing. She generously opened our family home at 10 Dahlia to family and friends.
Mom was passionately devoted to her family and to her community. She had lifetime friends and easily made new friends when she moved into The Boulton with dad in 2021.
She died peacefully surrounded by the love of her family.
Thank you to the staff at CancerCare Manitoba, Palliative Care St. Boniface Hospital and Simkin Centre for their outstanding and passionate care they provided to her and our family in her final months.

My condolences to all the Frohlich family on the loss of your beloved mother and grandmother. May her memory be for a blessing! I moved to Vancouver 14 years ago, but my heart will always be in my birth city where I knew many people, as your wonderful Mom.
