DAVID LLOYD LOGAN

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Dave Logan, a proud husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, at the age of 69, in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

He is survived by his wife, Dede Logan, son Kris (Jane), daughter Karie (Jason), daughter Kathryn (Jay), and grandkids, Atleigh, Lander, Jackson, Kamryn, Jack, and Ben; sisters, Sandy (Brian), Joan (Graeme), and Elizabeth (Tony). Additional family, Rod, Keanu, and Mila.

He was predeceased by his father and mother, Bill and Mary Logan.

Dave married the love of his life in 1974 and instantly family became everything. He graduated from the University of Regina and committed to a 45-year career as a Controller. Dave was a celebrated multi-sport athlete in his early years and used those skills to be a coach of many sports. He spent many hours in arenas and at baseball diamonds watching his children and grandchildren playing sports. He loved to tend to his all-inclusive backyard where everyone was welcome. He cherished his time with “Family of Friends” having games nights and playing cards.

Thank you to everyone who has sent messages of love to celebrate all the impacts he has made on your lives; he was truly so special to everyone and will be missed dearly.

As per Dave’s wishes, there will be no service held. Please take a moment to honour his memory in your own way.

  • Sending condolences from Mike and Charmaine Symak. Dave was a mentor to me when we worked together and was always an inspiration when it came to coaching and sports. He always made time to listen and to offer a soft opinion but the main thing was he cared for everybody and every thing. He will be missed. - Posted by: Mike Symak (Friend) on: Jul 20, 2024
