Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDIANE SARGINSON
Diane, aged 73 of Edmonton, passed away on Friday, August 2, 2024. She is survived by her spouse Perry; siblings, Rob, Gwen, and Deborah, as well as nephews and nieces.
Born and raised in Winnipeg, Diane also lived and worked in Toronto and Calgary, eventually returning to Winnipeg. She met Perry through work and started dating in 1987. They moved in together in 1988.
Diane originally worked as a librarian before moving into IT. She worked for the Manitoba government until 1995 when she decided to leave. As it turned out, that was her last job as she decided to retire.
Diane's new "job" became genealogy. She traced her family history back to the 1500s. She also did Perry's family tree and continued working on her extended family. Diane and Perry moved to Edmonton in 2005. They enjoyed camping in Banff and Jasper, as well as in the Okanagan valley.
Diane always had pets, adopting them from the humane society or responding to notices of dogs in need of a new home.
Please, no flowers. Memorial donations may be made to the Edmonton Humane Society in honour of Diane.

Debbie, so sorry for the loss of your sister. Well she had already left home by the time we became friends, I know you looked up to her. She always seemed like a free spirit to me. - Posted by: Beverly Burton-Guindon (Friend of Debbie) on: Aug 10, 2024
