It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Barbara Johnston on June 21, 2024, in Kamloops, BC, at the age of 82.
Barbara is survived by her loving husband, Danny Johnston; her children, Kathleen Johnston, Laura Easterbrook (Doug); grandchildren, Ashley Jorgenson (Ryan), Kathryn Easterbrook, and Kevin Easterbrook; her nephew, Richard Johnston (Venus); and her sister-in-law, Marlene.
She was predeceased by her parents Chester and Alice Waddell, brother Gerry and sister Thelma. Barbara was a very artistic and creative person with a warm and loving nature. She will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her.

If I have the correct Barbara Johnston, then she went to University, Faculty of Home Economics/Human Ecology between 1978 and 1982. She was a wonderful woman, an inspiration to me, another Barbara, who was much younger. Her determination and drive, despite health issues, were a model for me. We lost touch. I would so welcome hearing from her family and catch up on what her life was like these past decades. My deepest condolences.
