HELEN PATRICIA JENION

(nee HASWELL)

Peacefully on August 8 at Concordia Hospital mom passed away. She is survived by a daughter Leslie English (Craig) and son Robert Jenion (Kathy); grandchildren Coryn Jenion, Kristy Mcdonald (Paul) Shaun English (Lindsay) Ryan English (Sarah Warden) and nine great-grandchildren Anya, Eve, Beaudry, Alex, Daniel, Hazel, Lena, Quinn and Aedan.

She is predeceased by her husband Charles Jenion.



Mom was born Nov 14, 1920, in Hardisty Alberta the youngest of five children.

She married Charles Jenion after the war. They originally lived in Vancouver then Edmonton and finally settled in Winnipeg. They were active in curling at the Granite Curling Club and golf at Niakwa Country Club.

Mom was a bridge player and spent a number of years playing with senior’s groups.



Mom loved her home and was lucky enough to live in her own home until she was hospitalized.

Mom’s ashes will be taken to Burnaby with dads to be interred there. Family will be present as a final memorial.
