Peacefully on August 6, 2024 Barbara passed away in her sleep. Barbara was born on August 29, 1940 in Selkirk, Manitoba. She was predeceased by her father Herbert and stepmom Marion, her mother Mildred and stepfather John, sister Beryl and brother John.
She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Edward, sons Gordon (Tammi), Ronald (Mary), sisters Mildred Mary (Moe), Diane (Mike), Carol, and many nieces and nephews.
She loved her family and no words will express how much she will be missed by her family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held on August 29 at 2:00 p.m. at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd., Winnipeg.

I had the pleasure of doing Barbara's hair for the last many years. She was a kind and caring person. My parents got to know Ed and Barb over the years during coffee in St Vital Mall and they also enjoyed getting to know Ed and Barb.
