Dad will be dearly missed by his sister Helene (Ed); brother Victor; his sons, Paul (Sharon), Karl (Brook); his step-daughter Annick (Fred) and step-son Francois; grandchildren, Matthew, Willow, Kendra, Asher, Alex and Summer; step-grandchildren, Stéphanie (Stephen) and Nathalie (Mirna) and his step-great grandchildren, Lucas, Silas and Sophia, as well as Elizabeth; his niece and nephews, Ami, Paul, Gene, Tony, Bruce, and close friends, Micheline, and Tena and Levi.
He was predeceased by his parents, Mary and John, his brother John, his sister Erma, and the love of his life, Solange Chabannes.
That Dad and Solange were soul mates was obvious to everyone who met them. They excelled at embarrassing their children with public displays of affection. Together they enjoyed life to the fullest, travelling the world, where they often made lasting friendships; pursuing their shared passion for the arts; and most of all spending time with their blended family. If Dad had a favourite place, it was probably at a dinner table surrounded by loved ones, enjoying a delicious meal (best of all cooked by Solange), good wine and great conversation.
A private celebration of his life will be held for family and friends.
