Iris Rey passed away August 29, 2024.

She is survived by her spouse Georges Rey; her children, David (Val), Gordon (Brenda), and Devin Wilken; Georges' children, Robert (Debbie), Mike (Kim), Danny (Deb), Tim (Connie), and Cindy (Dave).

Iris was born January 8, 1936 and spent her formative years living with her family in a company house along the railroad tracks of Ozone, Ontario, where she commuted weekly to Port Arthur to attend elementary school. The first phase of her adult life was that of a devoted wife and mother who moved often to accommodate her husband’s career. During the second phase of her life, she was both the life and business partner of Georges. If one ever asked her, she would have said how fortunate she was to have been gifted with two such wonderful families.

Mom will always be remembered for her love of life, her sociability and the kindness she showed to everyone she met. We hope that she will be loved wherever she is and that we will all see her again someday.
