MICHELLE WIEBE

(nee BEDARF)

February 25, 1970 - August 31, 2024

Anyone who knew Michelle would agree she lived by the following quote:

"Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "wow, what a ride!"

- Hunter S. Thompson

Michelle was always looking for the next party, and she loved to talk, talk, talk. Despite an illness and ailing body later in her life, she still had spunk and attitude. She was a handful, and she knew it, but she was an interesting blend of fiesty, stubborn, clever, intelligent, fun, loving, gentle, and sensitive.

Her favourite things in life were travelling, dolphins, all things green, going out for appetizers and drinks, cigarettes, and Sunday football...she was a huge KC fan. Michelle was happiest when she was at the lake, and while working as a Licenced Practical Nurse at Concordia Hospital. She loved all animals, big and small, but most importantly, her dog, Paris, who predeceased Michelle in 2022. We hope they're together now, playing on the other side.

Those left behind are son, Ryan; ex-husband and friend, Jake; soul mate and best friend, Bruce Dubeck; sister, Denise; auntie, Marita; BFF, Colleen Bailey; cousins, extended family, friends, acquaintances, and the amazing people she encountered on a daily basis at Concordia Hospital...she remembered you all, and the good times that were shared.

A small, private Celebration of Life will be held. We encourage others who wish to honour Michelle's life to wear something either green or KC, hold a beverage up to the sky, and "cheers" to her.

You're no longer in pain.

Farewell Michelle, we love you.
