MARIYA NENYCH

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend, Mariya Nenych, suddenly passed away at the age of 83, with her family by her side.

To cherish her memory, Mariya is survived by her daughters, Alexandra and Luba (Dwayne), grandchildren, Ivan (Vita), Nazariy (Christina), Julia, Natasha (Michael), Roman, Nicholas and Michael, great-grandchildren, Evelina, Markus, Cecelia and Martin and numerous family members in Ukraine, UK, Germany, Greece and USA.

Mariya was predeceased by her husband Ivan Nenych, parents, Mykola and Julia Ptitz, baby brother and daughter Natalia (Anatoliy Marynowsky).

On June 3, 1941, Mariya was born in Buchach, Ternopil Oblast, Western Ukraine where she grew up, married and was blessed with three girls, Natalia, Alexandra (Lesia), and Lubov (Luba).

Mariya had a passion for cooking and entertaining her guests that came to visit. She also loved flowers, gardening, travelling and dearly loved her grandchildren especially her four little great-grandchildren. She was a woman with a big heart and never said “No” to family or friend in need and always tried to help with whatever she could.

She will always have a special place in our hearts. May her love for us give us strength and support. We will miss her dearly.

May her soul be taken into God’s loving arms. We love you Mom/Baba. You will always be with us in our hearts.
