JOANNE GAYE FREDERICKS
We are saddened to announce the passing of our mother, grandmother, sister and wife on September 5 at the Health Sciences Centre after a lengthy illness.
Joanne was a very loving person who went out of her way to provide aid and comfort to everyone who knew her, and she will be deeply missed.
There will be a Celebration of Life for her at Selkirk Community Church, 6569 PTH 9, St. Andrews, MB, on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at 5:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba or the Food Bank.

Met this woman in 2003 and worked and keep in touch with her as much as I could. She was my best friend, she cared and always had a smile when I walked in, as everything is she was a fighter and fought. Joanne, You had the kindest heart of anyone we knew. You embraced everyone and anyone that came into your life. Without any expectations EVER. There will always only be one Auntie JoJo. Family, There are no words to comfort any of you at this time. She Loved you all so much. We feel that she will be with you all for her Celebration of Her Life....Spirit & Soul. I remember telling Joanne at many of our lunches together that the world and lives of those who know and love her would not be the same without her. This is a big loss for all of us. I was saddened to hear of Joanne's passing. I remember her as a fellow student at George V and Elmwood High School. She was always very friendly and kind to me and everyone else.
