Peacefully at the age of 64 years, Rick passed away at the St. Boniface Hospital.
Cremation has taken place and a private family interment will be held at a later date.

I worked with Rick for only a short time but he made an impact on me. Long days together getting jobs done while laughing and discussing all sorts of things. He had a big heart. My Sincere Condolences to the Steffan Family. I knew you guys of course in childhood growing up on the same street, but my brother's were friends of yours until adulthood. Terry has always filled me in as to what has been happening in your lives so you were ever present in conversation. I am so very sorry for your loss.
