DELROY CHEN
It is with profound sadness that we announce Delroy’s peaceful passing on October 9, 2024.
Delroy was 70 years young.
He was predeceased by his mother Nerissa. Delroy is lovingly remembered by his wife Shereen, children Kerry-Ann and Jeremy and step-son Valen. He also leaves his aunts, numerous cousins and friends.
Delroy was born on August 22, 1954 in Duncans, Trelawny, Jamaica where he attended William Knibb high school. He immigrated to Winnipeg in 1974 where he graduated from Red River College and worked at Boeing Canada he retired after 33 years of service.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday November 23, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. at New Beginnings Church, 1073 St. Mary’s Road.
The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at the Cancer Care Manitoba and the Seven Oaks Hospital (5-Unit 4) for the exceptional care that they provided.
