Ted Taylor, aged 90, passed away peacefully at the Cogir care home in Turlock, CA on November 8, 2024.
Ted, born July 3, 1934 to James and Rita Taylor, is survived by his loving wife, Betty; his children, Catherine Hana, Colin Taylor, and Alison (Glen) Gawletz; grandsons, Jordan and Kaelen; brothers, Les (Darlene) and Bob (Corrine); sister, Janice (Joe), and members of Betty's family who welcomed him into their lives and hearts. He is predeceased by his parents and brother Harvey.
Ted grew up in Rivers and lived in Winnipeg and Brandon, moving to BC after retiring and then to Ceres, CA. He worked for CN Rail and as an upholsterer but his true love was singing. He sang with the Keystone Quarters barbershop quartet, and various barbershop choruses and church choirs. He was singing until the end.
A private family remembrance will be held at a later date.
