With broken hearts, we share the loss of our wife, mother and baba, Riva McWilliam (Rudelier), on December 3, 2024.
Funeral services will be held at Congregation Shaarey Zedek, 561 Wellington Crescent at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, December 6, 2024.

While, unfortunately, I never had the good fortune or pleasure of truly meeting and knowing Riva, I was blessed to know the three wonderful daughters that she raised. To Beth, Rachel and Megan I am truly sorry for this profound loss. A mother’s love can never be replaced but it is infinite and eternal. From what I know you have all built wonderful, successful lives and families for which I can only imagine she took great pride in. In this time of grief, I wish you nothing but peace and understanding and love. My heart goes out to you and I send strength, positive energy and my deepest and heartfelt Condolences through this difficult time. Scott and Riva had Jody and me over for dinner many years ago. It was the only time I met Riva and I really liked her. My sincere condolences Scott, Beth and family, Rachel, Megan. I worked with Riva for 20 years not a day went by that we didn’t laugh. Riva had an incredible sense of humour. Dearest cousins, Scott, Beth, Rachel, Meagan and families, Rashi, Nelson, and families - My heart goes out to all of you with your tremendous loss. We never spoke often, but when we did, the strong feelings and family bond was always there. Scott, I remember when I came to your wedding, and both of you came to mine. I was so shocked to hear the news. I worked with Riva for many years. She had a heart of gold & loved her family above all else. My sincere condolences to Scott, Beth & family, Rachel & Megan.
