Melody passed away peacefully at her home in Jacksonville, Florida, on November 27 with family at her side after a brief battle with cancer. She was predeceased by her husband, Bob, in 2018. She will be lovingly remembered by her children Ryan (Jack), Teagan (Troy), and Travis, and by her parents Carol and Don Cornell.
Born and raised in Brandon, Melody married Mark Vickers, and they moved to Florida with their three wonderful children. After their divorce, she later met and married Bob Geissler. Melody worked as a neuromuscular therapist until her hospitalization.
A private celebration of her life will be held in Jacksonville.

We all are so very sorry to hear of your loss, Don & Carol. Melody was always a good friend to our girls, and were very upset to learn of her passing, as were Bill & I.
