I got to know Donna early in my time as a teacher in our local school. In my first month, Donna brought flowers in to winter in our classrooms, asking me to care for them when she couldn’t visit them. I never had a problem doing that, Donna and her flowers inspired me to keep my own classroom plants once I changed classrooms. She always left a note of thanks for caring for her plants and flowers. Donna was a wonderful guest teacher in our building, she loved working with our students and staff. She always took time to visit, ask about our families and students and always wished us well. Donna was a bright light in our school and she will be dearly missed. Thanks Donna for being such a caring, dedicated, reliable and thoughtful colleague and friend. - Posted by: David Reimer (Co-Worker) on: Dec 08, 2024

My thoughts and prayers are with you all… Gordon, Paul, Krista, Laurisa and grandchildren. Donna loved her family and was always working toward making their lives better. She was in pain for a long time and now she is at peace free from discomfort.. She will always hold a special place in your hearts and never be far away. May she Rest In Peace leaving wonderful memories with you. Life was too short for her but she made the most of every minute. We are so sorry to hear of Donna’s passing. Our heartfelt sympathy and prayers are with Gordy, Krista, Larissa and the grandchildren. Donna and I have been friends since 1974 and have remained “Timmy“ coffee buddies since then. She was suffering but remained positive and always said that she wasn’t going to give up. She had energy, spunk and love for her family. She remained true to her heritage and faith. She will be missed but always remembered. You have a place in my heart. Rest In Peace my friend. - Posted by: Elizabeth and Arthur (Colleague and friend ) on: Dec 07, 2024
