Kathleen "Katie" Elva Cohoe was born in Brandon, Manitoba on March 19, 1970, to Daniel and Elva Cohoe. She was welcomed home by God on November 18, 2024.
She is survived by her two daughters, Jaden and Brianna, and by her siblings, Maureen (Harvey), Shawn, Shelagh, Brad, Brent (Diane), and predeceased by her brother, Grant. She leaves behind many other cherished family members, including her best friend, Kirsten.
Katie was a forensic psychiatric nurse who cared deeply about helping others. She was also an adventurer at heart. Katie travelled the world, from Western Europe to Northern Africa to Oceania. She was a thrill seeker who wanted to try everything under the sun, from skydiving to river rafting to swimming with sharks and stingrays. She is loved deeply by her family and will be missed more than words can describe.
A graveside service will be held at a later date, with burial next to her brother and parents at Saint Paul's Cemetery in Starbuck, Manitoba. In lieu of flowers, please donate to a charity of your choice.
