CORY LEN RECUNYK

December 7, 1969 – November 24, 2024

It is with a heavy heart that Cory's family announce his passing.

Cory was born in Kelowna British Columbia to Leonard and Diane Recunyk.

When he was very young the family moved back to Manitoba and resided in East Selkirk. His early years where spent attending ES Happy Though School and later Comp High School in Selkirk. During this time he enjoyed playing hockey, football, and baseball, but his love of volleyball would surpass them all, traveling all over Canada with the team, winning several medals along the way. After completion of high school Cory moved to Brandon, Manitoba to attend university.

This is where he met his future wife, Corinne. Together they had three beautiful children, Seth, Laurissa (Mathew), granddaughter Ariadne, and Dion (Stacey).

Cory was predeceased by his parents Leonard and Diane, and his sister Kim. As well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Cory's memory will always be cherished by his children, several uncles, aunts and cousins.

Cremation has taken place, internment and a celebration of life will take place at St. Clements Anglican Cemetery in Selkirk, Manitoba at a later date.
