It is with deep sadness that the family of Patricia (Pat) Knight announces her passing on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at Oakview Place in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Pat will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Lori (Allen) and Kathy (Jim); son, Tom (Kathy); her grandchildren, Victoria (Kelly), Gary (Brandy), Melissa (Riley) and Kelsey; and great-grandchildren, Daemon and Alessandra. She was pre-deceased by her husband of 52 years, Harry Knight, with whom she proudly ran the family business, HR Knight Signs.

A long-time St. James resident, Pat was known for warmly greeting everyone with a bright smile and for her great personal style. She was always ready for a laugh and could crack a witty remark to start the fun.

Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and special holiday get-togethers. She enjoyed meeting up with her sister, Florence, and sister-in-law, Sandy, for lunch and shopping at Polo Park and catching up on all the news about her nieces and nephews. Socializing with her life-long friends over their monthly lunch get-togethers was special to her, as well as re-connecting with high school chums and meeting new friends when she moved to Sturgeon Creek Retirement Residence One.

The family wishes to share our sincere appreciation and thanks to the many health professionals who cared for Pat over the past year at the Deer Lodge Movement Disorder Clinic, Grace Hospital, Misericordia Hospital, Sturgeon Creek One and Oakview Place.

Respecting her wishes, no formal funeral service will be held. A private gathering will be held with close family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Parkinson Canada.

Arrangements for Pat have been entrusted to the family-owned chapel of Wojcik’s.
