GERRI RANNIE

(née FISHER)

June 20, 1953 – December 15, 2024

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Gerri Rannie on December 15, 2024, at the age of 71. Born in Brandon, Manitoba, on June 20, 1953, Gerri moved to Winnipeg in 2000, where she built a life filled with adventure, laughter, and lasting relationships.

Gerri is survived by her devoted husband, Rob; her children and stepchildren, Jackie (Julian), Jeff (Kerri), Jen (Joe), and Angie (Shawn); and her cherished grandchildren, Brendan, Noah, Zane, Nova, Katie, Tyler, Bennett and her dog Maddie.

In keeping with Gerri’s wishes, there will be no formal funeral service. A private celebration of life will be held for her immediate family.

Donations in Gerri’s memory may be made to Siloam Mission, where she once volunteered, or the St Boniface Hospital Foundation.

Gerri’s family would like to thank the wonderful staff at St B as well as the community palliative care staff who provided Gerri compassionate care and support during her final weeks.
