On December 24, 2024, Evelyn passed away peacefully while in hospital.
She is survived by her sister, Sheryn, and other family members.
As per her wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no service.

Us students would called her Mrs. B and I had her for my class in typing. Even after I finished my year there in 1979, I would still dropped in for a visit to visit her and the other teachers. So sorry to hear of Evelyn's passing. Worked with Evelyn at Angus School of Commerce. I worked in office and Evelyn was a teacher. Had lots of fun times. Evelyn was a very strong woman. Very approachable and always willing to help where needed. I left Angus in 1970 when I got married to Brian who worked next door at Imperial Optical. Married 55 years this year.
