I am saddened to hear of Mardi's passing. Such a wonderful person, who was a credit to her profession as an In Charge Flight Attendant, but more importantly, a colleague who always had a ready smile and engaging laugh. We always seemed to have a moment to chat about life on the Winnipeg River, her connections to the community of Lac Du Bonnet and mine to my home town of Pine Falls. My Condolences to all of her family and friends and hope that all their fond memories of Mardi, will help them cope, as they will for me. Sincerely, Kim Sharpe. - Posted by: Kim Sharpe (co worker) on: Jan 31, 2025

Truly a sad day. I had the privilege of working with Mardi many times. Her unique sense of humor and warm smile would make the world seem brighter and bring a smile to everyone's face. She will be missed. DN. - Posted by: Darrell Nesplak (Pilot / Co worker) on: Jan 31, 2025

So sad to read of Mardi’s passing. I had the good fortune of working with her when I was a junior pilot in Winnipeg. Her bubbly personality and wacky sense of humor made every flight one to remember when working with her. RIP Mardi, you will be missed. - Posted by: Grant Foster (Work) on: Jan 31, 2025

When I think of Mardi I think of her zest for life and her laughter. So much energy she had, and always a funny story. I enjoyed working with her and seeing her at flight attendant get togethers or sometimes at Victoria Beach. My deepest condolences to Kristi and Kevin. - Posted by: Joanne Clark (Co-worker) on: Jan 19, 2025

Kevin, Kristi and families, I am very sorry for your loss. I very much enjoyed working with Mardi when I was a junior flight attendant in Winnipeg. She was nice, kind and very competent. Whenever I ran into outside of work her welcoming smile always made my day. Robyn - Posted by: Robyn Johnston (Air Canada co-worker) on: Jan 15, 2025

I worked with Mardi at our neighbourhood school lunch program. She was always a very fun and friendly person to be around. She impressed me how active she was with walking and tennis. She would often tell me how she was meeting up with old work friends from her Flight Attendant days. She was obviously a good friend and loved people. Rest in peace dear Mardi. Condolences to all family and friends. Donna - Posted by: Donna Kreker (Co worker) on: Jan 11, 2025
