• I am saddened to hear of Mardi's passing. Such a wonderful person, who was a credit to her profession as an In Charge Flight Attendant, but more importantly, a colleague who always had a ready smile and engaging laugh. We always seemed to have a moment to chat about life on the Winnipeg River, her connections to the community of Lac Du Bonnet and mine to my home town of Pine Falls. My Condolences to all of her family and friends and hope that all their fond memories of Mardi, will help them cope, as they will for me. • When I think of Mardi I think of her zest for life and her laughter. So much energy she had, and always a funny story. I enjoyed working with her and seeing her at flight attendant get togethers or sometimes at Victoria Beach. • I worked with Mardi at our neighbourhood school lunch program. She was always a very fun and friendly person to be around. She impressed me how active she was with walking and tennis. She would often tell me how she was meeting up with old work friends from her Flight Attendant days. She was obviously a good friend and loved people. Rest in peace dear Mardi.
