It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sylvia Kathleen Brandt, who peacefully left us on January 10, 2025, in Cobblehill, BC at the age of 58. Sylvia was born on June 7, 1966, in Brandon, Manitoba to Fred and Kathleen (Davidson) Brandt. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Sylvia is survived by her loving father, Fred Brandt; her brother, Darryl Brandt (Dorothy Cudney); her three children, Jasmine Brandt, Charmin Brandt (Matthew Sipos), and Jaydon Brandt; as well as her six grandchildren: Desiray Blacksmith, Clayton Brandt, Charlee Brandt, Hunter Brandt, Quinten Brandt, and Carter DePourcq. She also leaves behind her cherished great-grandchild, Jaedyn Blacksmith, along with many friends and loved ones who will forever carry her memory in their hearts.
Sylvia was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend who found great joy in the company of her family and cherished the moments spent with her grandchildren. She will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love for those close to her. Her laughter, generosity, and spirit will continue to live on through the many lives she touched.
A private service will be held in the summer of 2025 at Sparling Cemetery, where Sylvia will be laid to rest beside her mother, Kathleen.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider a donation to a charity of your choice in Sylvia’s memory.
She is gone from our sight but will never be gone from our hearts.

I remember every Christmas Eve uncle Fred, Sylvia and Daryl would come to our farm. After supper we would all sit around the tree and open gifts together. Many memories - Posted by: Kathy DeGelder (Davidson) (Cousin) on: Jan 26, 2025

Sorry to hear of Sylvia's passing. When she was in Kelowna and working for a driveway building company, we met up when they would come and fuel up at the gas station I worked at. We did not have alot of time to catch-up when she would be there, but we got the basics in. Always that warm and beautiful smile!!!!!!! She sure loved her family!!!! My condolences to all who loved Sylvia. See you when I see you my fellow Elton Collegiate Alumni....... GO SABRES!!!!! - Posted by: Mellissa Pulak Howe (School Friend) on: Jan 19, 2025
