Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMICHAEL DAVID PATE
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden loss of our partner, father, grandfather, son, brother and friend.
Michael was the beloved partner of Kimberly for 15 years. A father to Brianna (Matthew), Kaylyn (Andrew) and Calvin; a grandfather to Coen, Kamrie and Andre. He will be deeply missed by his parents, David and Lynn, brother Christopher (Kelly), sister Elizabeth (Ross), sister Catherine, nieces and nephews, extended family and many friends.
Michael dedicated many years to his career as a Power Engineer, beginning at YMHA and then The Northwest Company. He soon advanced to Maintenance Supervisor at Cangene Corporation and then to serve as Chief Engineer with Portage and Main Properties.
Michael cherished time spent with his family and grandchildren. He found joy in the great outdoors, whether fishing, camping or golfing. He loved all sports and rarely missed a Bombers or Jets game. In quieter moments, Michael enjoyed working in his garage, using his tools to create beautiful birdhouses that we would gift to family and friends.
Michael was an extraordinary man, kind and loving, with a beautiful smile that could brighten up any heart. He truly was a masterpiece of creation.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
